Here are some photos I took during the Sunday service while the children were learning to put parables into practice by planting seeds in good soil. The plants they grow will eventually go into the garden plot next to the new building! Plus, some pix from the service and the potluck afterwards.

The small groups that support our returning residents ministry gathered for an evening of food, fun, and relaxation with the time-honored tradition of the White Elephant Gift Exchange (aka Yankee Swap, aka Nasty Christmas). You’ll have to ask Christie about the hair. (No, she wasn’t coming as the Ghost of Christmas Past…)

A mylar balloon hit the power lines and blew out electricity to the VFW, so Peace Fellowship moved outside today.
Thanks to Caroline for organizing a great time hiking at Great Falls–Maryland side. The Billy Goat trail was full of fun challenges and great views along the river.
Tonight Peace Fellowship hosted its first open mic night, including poets and visual artists from our congregation and community. Hopefully it will be the first of many, given the inspiring talent and performances!
